Bannergatta National Park Tour

I'd been planning to visit Bangalore Zoo for many days. I read about the new safari kinda of facility and since then waiting for the day I get to see the national park. Last satday I felt bored after watching few crappy movies and I thought I should hang out. I tried locating it in the google maps and fortunately there is one link to the official website of it. I found the site interesting as there are many pics of deers, tigers and elephants and many more. I went through the map of the zoo and found very big dark colored regions tagged with lion safari, tiger safari, bear safari and many more safaries. I thought I should start immediately....
I took the BMTC bus to bannergatta and one other auto to national park from bannergatta to national park. Place was full of people as it was holiday. There are many items on the board like grand safari, tiger safari and many more. I didn't know anything about them so I thought I should get maximum out of the day so I took a ticket for me and my brother for GRAND SAFARI. I went in to the gate where it says one time entry only.. I found a nameplate both in kannada and english which says Grand safari but there were thousands of people waiting in the iron barricades. I joined the everending queve at the back and waited for smore then 1 hour to get my turn. Finally after getting congested for more than hour in that stinking place I got a chance to get into the green color van with opaque glasses ( Noway you could see through the window glasses). Van is fully messed and there are around 20 seats in it.
After being filled up it started moving towards the safaris .... Discovery channel was moving in mind. I was thinking about we going very close to lions and tigers chasing deers and eating them and all that animal planet stuff.
First thing in our list was herbivorous safari... It went through a gate, very big green gate manually operated on the both sides.. It went through it and suddenly there was some sheep kind of animal. Busdriver stopped the vand and shouted in english.. wild sheep. My brother shouted "oh fellow It is just like ordinary sheep and I had seen thousands of them like that". Then there was wild buffelo nothing different from one we have at home. Only good thing to cherish is spotted deers which I have never seen before. Suddenly some other safari jeep got stuck in the mud and blocked the way.. so we had to wait for some more time. My patience is running out .
Then the bus went to bears safari. I thought there would be many kinds of bears but actually one kind and bus driver stopped it close to them. Every body in the van jumped and started calling it in their languages..
Next it went ot Lion parks. Let me explain it in my words. What is safari.... watching animals in the natuaral habitat. This is something like a very big cage into which cans can go in. There are four lions and one lioness.
Then the last one is tiger safari. Only cool thing in the tour. This is quite big and for the first time in my life I say white tiger. The bus went very close to it and it didn't seem bothered. I saw white cubs fighting with each other and tour is done
back to the start...
I didn't meet my expectations but what I suggest is "it is worth watching.. I would pay double for watching the white tiger one othe time...
so
I saw a great bengal white tiger finally...!
